Spends some time during each practice session focusing on your specific position. Finally, have a short team meeting.
Learn correct stride for baseball. For example, as a right-handed pitcher, you should be picking up your left leg some when releasing the pitch. If you’re left-handed, do the exact opposite. As the ball gets closer, move in about 12 inches toward the pitcher. Stride shorter if you’re not very big.
